Fox Marketing 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X

Here's another Fox Marketing creation, which is Joshua Seevers' 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X. You can find more information about the car at the Fox Marketing website.

It took me a few attempts to get the strobes positioned correctly to bring out the green & yellow colors. At first, all I could get were the reds and oranges.

Photo shoot with Sarah

It's been about half a decade since my last portrait photo shoot so I figured I'd kill some time with the cold weather coming and the auto stuff dwindles. Sarah wanted a few photos that didn't come from a camera phone, so she stopped by for a quick photo session. You can find more of her on her Youtube channel where she talks about video games, comics, Cosplay and more. Click here to visit her channel.

Photo shoot with Fox Marketing's 2012 Honda Civic Si

Brian @ Fox Marketing sends me a message to give him a call first thing Monday morning. I call him up and he asks if I'd do a photo shoot on his 2012 Honda Civic Si before it was shipped out to Las Vegas for the SEMA show to be displayed in the Honda booth. So I asked, "when do you want to take the photos and how quickly do you want them back?" He responds, "Can you do it this Saturday morning and have the photos to me by Monday?" Hmm.. I've got a wedding Friday night and waking up before sunrise the following morning isn't high on my list of things to do, especially when carrying a 13-lb camera/ring flash rig around for a few hours the night before. I decided to do the shoot but I wasn't sure if I could get the photos processed in time since I also had a birthday party and a Halloween party later that day, followed by an exotic car cruise on Sunday.

Well, here are the results. I'm glad I was able to fit the shoot into my schedule. (Sorry Nia & Dado for not making it to your Halloween party! Too much going on in one weekend)

Private Exotic Car Collection Viewing - 10/9/11

It's difficult to put into words a description of what myself and a handful of others got to witness this past weekend at a private exotic car collection. I think I can say that most people left whispering a simple three-letter word: "WOW."

I've been fortunate to see most of the 114 vehicles owned by this collector but never have I seen them all together like this. Ferrari FXX, an F1 race car, 599 GTO, 612, 430 16M Scuderia, Aston Martin DBR9 race car, Bugatti Veyron, Porsche Carrera GT, SLS AMG, McLaren SLR, SL 65 AMG Black Edition, Saleen S7, and the list goes on with 114 vehicles at this particular facility with more at his other residence.

Supercars on State Street, August 13, 2011

A portion of State Street in downtown Harrisburg was blocked off for a small event to help raise money for the American Breast Cancer Society. The weather wasn't the greatest but car owners still drove out for a good cause. Click here for the full gallery.

Inactive

If you haven't noticed, I haven't had much on my site for 2011 since I'm taking the year off. I'll probably pull a Brett Favre and come back in 2012.

Eurotuner Cover

I finally got around to Barnes & Noble and picked up a copy of the May 2011 Eurotuner issue. Here's the final print. You can see several other shots directly below this post or click here. Ironically, they ended up using the one photo I didn't think they would use, which I didn't post up on my blog.

Congrats to Ryan and Jason!
