Pocono CSD - Concours, Pocono, PA - 5/24/09

Another year, another Memorial Day weekend, and another great event called Pocono CSD (A Celebration of Speed & Design) to raise money for a good cause (FallenWarriors.org).

During the drive up, the weather wasn't looking promising with dark clouds and overcast skies, but by the time I arrived, the sun came out and the weather turned out great. Less talk, more pics. Carlisle Performance & Style, Carlisle, PA - 5/9/09

Mother Nature was kind enough to hold off on the inclement weather for Mother's Day weekend at the Carlisle Performance & Style. With a showfield of approximately 1500 cars and a wide range of events, there was enough going on to keep the spectators busy for hours. Axcelerated Motorsports brought their 248 chassis dyno for those wanting to know how much power their cars were putting down to the ground. At the autocross section, the NICO club assisted in putting on display the drifting expo. The North East Lexus Owners Club (NELOC) was also in attendance, sharing Pavilion B with the VIP crew. Throughout the day, spectators also could watch Club Games tug o' war, BMX stunt shows, dB Drag & Bass Race competitions, Street Glow ICEHouse, Street Glow neon contest, burnout contest, and of course the bikini contest.
